GETTING YOUNG CHILDREN MOVING, LEARNING, AND GROWING TOGETHER

Young Athletes is an inclusive play‑based program designed for children ages 2 to 7, helping them build important skills through movement and shared activities. Whether at home, in school, or as part of a Special Olympics event, children learn how to play with others, take turns, follow directions, and grow in confidence in a fun and supportive environment. These early experiences help build healthy habits, strengthen social and motor skills, and prepare children with intellectual disabilities for future participation in Special Olympics sports. Wherever it takes place, Young Athletes makes it easy for every child to get involved and grow.
