Meet Bryan from Bakersfield!
Meet Jordan Wall
Jordan is an athlete who has played swimming, bowling, tennis, and cheerleading with the Special Olympics for 12 years. One of her favorite memories is running with the torch at the Torch Run with the LAPD officers. Jordan’s advice to anyone looking to join the Special Olympics is to “Don’t give up and have fun!”
Meet Rachel Osterbach
Rachel has played basketball, soccer, rhythmic gymnastics, and floor hockey with the Special Olympics for over 30 years. One of her favorite memories is going to Iowa and meeting Rafer Johnson.

In honor of World Down Syndrome Day, we want to highlight the amazing and multifaceted Jared Kozak! Jared is 34 years old, and has been in the Special Olympics for 21 years where he has participated in five sports, including basketball, track and field, golf, and bowling! His favorite sport is golfing, and one of his favorite memories is getting a standing ovation from the crowd at a tournament!

This characteristic speaks volumes about the type of person Brandon is. Born with Down syndrome, Brandon has faced and conquered challenges that would daunt most. His life, a testament to the unwavering determination and an infectious smile, inspires all who know him.
