Swimmer Nicolette Jones has the good kind of nerves many athletes experience before a big competition.
Nikki, as many people around Special Olympics Southern California have come to know her, will have plenty of chances to channel those feelings at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games from July 1-6 in Seattle.
\”I\’m excited,\” Nikki said. \”My whole family is coming.\”
She is scheduled to compete in four events: the 50-meter freestyle and backstroke, 25 breaststroke and 4×50 relay. Her personal favorite is the breaststroke.
